PLAN OF SALVATION
1. REALIZE YOUR CONDITION
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
No one is good enough to go to Heaven on their own merit. No matter how much good we do, we still fall short.
2. REALIZE THE PENALTY FOR SIN
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..."
Just as there are wages for good, there is punishment for wrong. The penalty for our sin is eternal
separation from God in Hell.
3. BELIEVE THAT CHRIST DIED AND ROSE AGAIN FOR YOU
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Christ's great love for us was shown when He died on the cross and rose again from the dead to pay our sin debt.
4. TRUST CHRIST ALONE AS YOUR SAVIOUR
Romans 6:23 "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
We all must recognize that we have a sin debt and that Jesus is the ONLY solution. Recognizing that Jesus is the ONLY solution is a result of true heart repentance. This turning in your heart to Jesus as the ONLY solution for forgiveness of sins is called faith.
Romans 10:13 tells us this, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Why would someone call on Jesus? Only because they believe in their heart that He is the solution.
Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raise him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
You can be saved TODAY by trusting in Jesus!
